MIDAS - How we all can help to report trading syndicates to MAS

It's third day of Chinese New Year, I should not be spending time updating my blog especially on the topic above. I have no idea why but just felt there is a need for me to do so. I know many retailers out there were sucked in and bought into Midas lately, if you are one of them, I urge you to read this carefully and think if this was really your own fault or if you have bought into it under the influence of syndicates, unknowingly. I have very good feeling that trading syndicates are presently very active in investment forums such as InvestingNote, Shareinvestors.com and others etc.

The questions you need to answer below :

1) Would you have bought into Midas if the so called forum 'guru' did not consistently give abnormal upside potential of > 30% returns to Midas. ( Usual estimates are less than 10%)

2) Would you have bought into Midas if there are opposing views shared in the forum so that you are given unbiased information.

3) Did you consistently see postings on Midas in the forum everytime you log in.

4) Did you realise it was always the same group of people that post about Midas and not others.

5) Do you know who are trading syndicates / what do they do / thier objectives.

6) have you grown suspicious of any forum profile / forum 'Guru' after this Midas event.

If your answer is 'Yes' to question 6 and you are one of the victim who bought into Midas, I urge you to report it to MAS without delay. Please look for me if you need help on how to do it.

MAS is also currently taking step to look into trading syndicates at work and it will be helpful if you could provide information to the authority to start the investigation. Below is the link on MAS's stand on trading syndicates.

If you became a victim after joining IN forum , shareInvestor.com or other forum, and wish to report to authority about suspicious profile in the forum, you may go to MAS website to fill in the details. Below is the snapshot and link. Please write to me as well if you need help. Do not let these syndicates get away scot-free for causing harm to market as well as you.
